Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King’s horses
And all the King’s men
Couldn’t  put Humpty together again!

We went to one of our local library “Time for 2’s” program on Monday. The theme of the day was nursery rhymes. Emily giggled like a crazy child when Mother Goose came to greet her. (Hand puppet otherwise she would have FREAKED.) The instructor (can’t remember her name for the life of me) read some stories and acted out some nursery rhymes on the board. The best part for Emily was when they got to make Humpty Dumpty. She loves her Humpty. I had a picture of her holding it but somehow it didn’t make it to the computer.

Humpty Dumpty………has been the theme for the past few days. What’s a mom to do when she is stuck playing play-doh for the twentieth time this week? She reenacts Humpty Dumpty of course!!!!

Stephen told me that I was a freak. LOL! I call it “losing my mind”, thank you.

“Play Play-doh, Mommy!”

Play-doh is one of Emily’s favorite things to play with. She asks to play with it on a daily basis. She got even more enthralled with it after Christmas when her cousin gave her this huge play-doh set. So much to do! This is one activity that will keep Emily’s attention for a long, long time.

See how much my girl loves her play-doh:

Enjoy a few picture of our many rounds with the “doh”.
